Description

The warm summer breeze ruffled Zoe's hair, tickling her neck. She loved this time of year the days so full of sunshine and joy and she loved it even more with Milton by her side. She glanced down at her beloved dog, sitting loyally by her side, and her heart filled with warmth. She felt so blessed to have him he was an integral part of her life.

As she looked around, she saw groups of people enjoying the park, walking their dogs, and playing with their children. She smiled content to just be there soaking in the beauty of the moment. After a while Milton stirred and looked up at her, eyes twinkling. She smiled back, feeling a deep connection with him that went beyond words.

For the remainder of the afternoon, Zoe and Milton explored the park walking lazily among the trees and grass. They stopped a few times to admire the flowers and watch the birds, but mostly they just enjoyed being together. The sun began to set and they returned to the bench, where they had first arrived. Zoe felt a sense of peace settle over her. She had a true companion in Milton, and they had spent a beautiful day adoringly together.
